During the wildfires of 2003 that burned millions of acres in four states, Bruce was the subject of a Pulitzer Prize winning photograph, depicting his rescue of a toddler from a burning house. Since then, things have gone topsy-turvy. First came the civic service awards and the media coverage...then the Chrysalis. Life for this firefighter hasn't been quite the same since. |
