Kellie Trahern(Maria McKinnon): Kellie Spires grew up on Duck Pond Lane in North Carolina with her Grandma Millie and Grandpa Juni. Overall, her childhood was a good one. On her 16th birthday her Grandma gave her a beautiful swimsuit. Her Grandma said her grandma gave her a suit when she turned 16 also, it was a family tradition; as all good ol' clothes, it never seemed to wear out. When she graduated from high school, she applied to attend Old Dominion University, like her mother, and grandfather had done. She got in as a marine science major, studying the ecology of the Chesapeake Bay, and the Atlantic. In Sept of 2004, Kellie’s chrysalis occurred. She had had a particular bad day at school, and she decided that the water was still warm enough for her to take a dip...next thing she knew, she was a Seal! Her introduction into Kithain society was prompted by the Sluagh, Hush and expanded by High Court on Parrot Island only a month later. Living now in the County of Rising Hope (Norfolk, VA) she has found herself on many an adventure and Quest and has been inducted into the Order of the Dragoon Knights. Her and her husband Henry Trahern are awaiting their first child!
