Captain Don Francisco Domingo San Viera la Mancha el Castillo Diego de Alcantara de Escobar (plus several other surnames that I won't discuss at this point) hails originally from the Mediterranian port of Rhoda, Spain. The son of a distinguished Privateer (Commodore Luis Escobar), the sea is in his very blood.

Shortly after his Chrysalis he took up with one of his padres ships and learned the fine art of Privateerism. Dissatisfied with the treatment of Privateers in the Kingdom, he assumed the helm of his own ship at the tender age of 12.

Legends tell of the shadow war he fought with another ship's Captain for 6 years across every sea of the Dreaming (10 to be precise), he eventually clashed with his rival of the coast of Tripoli and was victorious, claiming the Mistress of Despair as his own. It is rumored that the former Captian of the Mistress was a beauttiful Satyr woman, who captured his heart. It is said that the two of them plundered every port city in the world, striking fear into the heart of mariners for miles around, but some few years ago something happened aboard the Mistress of Despair, and none save Don Francisco know survived to tell the tale.
