1996 - 1998 (Prior to venue start)
Queen Aeron ni Fiona of Pacifica abdicates the throne due to a curse laid upon the Kingdom, to Vazvaraheem al’Maudeen of the Eshu. Also at this time there was a curse laid upon the largest duchy in Pacifica, Westward Marches.

The curse in Westward Marches (and some borderlands) prevents the presence of nobles bearing any title higher than Baron.

During this time the Duke’s Davain and Arioch secede from Pacifica, not wishing to serve under the new Eshu King, and form the Kingdom of Storms.

Pacifica in turn, takes the Counties of Tyr Winterbrook and Everburning Skye (together, Arizona) from the Kingdom of Burning Suns.

Finally in August of 1998, King Vazvaraheem falls ill and the gossip on the lips of courtiers say it is due to poison or foul play, though this is unsubstantiated.

1999
King Ambrosius Dreamwater ap Gwydion is granted the throne of Pacifica by High King David Ardry.

The curse on nobles lifted finally and Duke Rastagas ap Eiluned is the named Duke of Westward Marches.

2000
Duke Rastagas is defeated in fior by Count Fletcher Griffonbane ip Eiluned, who succeeds him as the new Duke.

Duchy of the Northern Bear is formed and Duke Allowishus is named as Liege.

Duchy of Shifting Sands is likewise formed and the Duchess Aruna Dawnchild ni Fiona is named Leige.

2001
In October, the Ard Ri holds High Court in Caer Angeles. It is during this High Court that King Dreamwater incarcerates the Redcap Jack Morgan on trumped up charges of sedition. Jack’s Duchess, Aruna, rises to his defense and for this Dreamwater declares her Fealty broken. She is struck blind and stripped of her title.

November sees Count Ihsan al’Maudeen is promoted to Ducal Regent of Shifting Sands, filling the shoes of his former Duchess.

2002
“Beware the Ides of March.” –Soothsayer to Caesar
March 15: Dreamwater is assassinated by one of his own Coral Guardsmen whose home was in the Westward Marches.

Count Ihsan Ashraf al'Maudeen is officially named as Duke of Shifting Sands.

September sees the rise of King Orion Nightstar ap Gwydion to the throne of Pacifica.

In October, Orions’s fiancée (a kinain), is murdered at the High Court in Burning Sun. He returns to Pacifica and declares the boarders closed to occupants of other kingdoms.

2003
January: Duke Fletcher attempts to declare the Duchy of Western Marches as a commoner mew, King Orion pronounces him a traitor and he is removed of office.

June: Duke Ryknar Andswaru ap Eiluned is appointed as the new Duke of Western Marches, replacing Fletcher.

July: Duke Ihsan is named the Heir to Pacifica.

October: King Orion Nightstar ap Gwydion marries Kassedeigh ni Scathatch and names his niece Brighannah Nightstar ni Gwydion as the new Duchess of the Northern Bear.

2004
New Years Day: Duke Ihsan al’Maudeen, Heir to Pacifica to married to the Crown Princess Fatima Kilrain ni Fiona, Heir to Storms.
