This Kingdom is often mentioned with something of a shudder of changelings from the rest of the Empire. While nominally ruled by the Troll warlord, Duke Topaz, it is a zone of constant battle with the oldest and most powerful nunnehi in Concordia. The lands here are wild and untamed by the influence of Duke Topaz; many feel that control of this region will soon be lost forever to the war against the nunnehi nations. The terrain and the weather of this kingdom vary greatly: from desert to steamy jungle to high mountains and rich farmlands. The duchy officially covers all of Mexico, but in reality controls only a thin section of territory along the nation's northern and western borders.
