Life is rarely dull for long with an Eshu around. If they're not telling fantastic stories, members of this adventurous kith are typically out living new ones. Their talent for finding the most interesting paths to any destination makes them both a blessing and a curse as companions. Hailing originally from ancient lands stretching from India, the Middle East and the whole of Africa, these compulsive wanderers can now be found among all cultures across the globe. Some Eshu lay claim to ancient titles and a noble heritage unique to the kith; others simply take the road for their demesne.

Duke za'Ihsan Ashraf al'Maudeen
(Chris Williams):Arguably the most well known Eshu in Concordia, perhaps even the world. Ihsan Ashraf is one of the most paradoxical and enigmatic figures to be born of the Elegbara. The Scion of Bayt (House) Maudeen, he is a study in dualities. Elder, Griot, and Noble of the Tribe he is a bastion of tradition, custom, and lore. Far and wide Eshu of all ages travel to study at his fire, and he is known among their kin as a repository of wisdom and support. But yet, although there has always been tension between Ihsan's kith and theirs, he has many ties to the Sidhe, or Itiyere as they are called by the Eshu. The Elder Eshu is a Prince of both the Kingdoms of Pacifica and Storms; he proudly bears the Oath of Truehearts for the Crown Princess of Storms, Fatima "Lolly" Kilrain-al'Maudeen; is affliated and stands as a High Noble of the House Eiluned; and he is sworn to the King of Pacifica as both Vassal and Adopted Son.

Many of the more traditionally suspicious of his kith view him at time with suspicion and see his loyalties as divided, many question how one with so many ties can remain free...can remain pure...can remain honorable. But Ihsan has met all these criticisms of detractors, from inside the Tribe and out, with the same, regal stoicism, indomitable will, and sweeping charisma; a Man of the People, a Man of His People, a Man of Many Peoples.

sa'Talia Shameel al'Mordero
(Jamie Schork-Morency): Talia has many titles, but speaks of them very little. Born in Israel, she now lives at her ranch east of San Diego, where she raises, trains, and breeds spectacular horses as well as working dogs. She trains the cavalry of Pacifica and Shifting Sands, and has gifted the first of an unusual and amazing bloodline of horses to a select few. She is the strongest of the blood of Bayt'Mordero and carries the Sword of the Four Winds, and somehow, though few know the story, has become Craftmaster of House Dougal, with the blessing of King Silverhand ap Dougal. Private and practical, she spends more time with her horses than the kithain or working with local law enforcement.

Na'Kia I'lah(Nikki McCorristan): She came out of nowhere it seems. A young girl of 13, though she bears the naivete of a Childling at times, with long blond hair usually bound in pigtails. A powerful Seer without the gift of control or experience, she is recognized by her magnificently glowing blue eyes and the sheer white veil she wears over her head to hide them from the world. A quiet girl for the most part, timid and kind. An enigma of knowledge, things she has seen, things she has witnessed. She buries secrets (hers and others) as few truly listen.

Often dubbed 'the crazy girl', she lives in the garden of Ihsan's Lighthouse at Summers End of the Shifting Sands in the Kingdom of Pacifica and is seen on occasion in the barony of Smokey Valley, but she bears no marks of rank nor shows symbols of fealty. It is known, however that she is a Telmeetha (daughter) of Ihsan. She sees the weft and warp of the fabric of Fate. Ask her, and you may get an earful.

Nick McDaniels
(Anthony Fuentes): They say Kinain tend to be the unsung heroes of Concordia - frankly Nick McDaniels couldn't care less. A native of California, Nick came upon the madness of the Wyld Coast completely by accident. You can say it all started with a griffon and the Frank Sinatra song "Come Fly With Me". Needless to say he has been there since.

Known throughout most of California as being a top independent comic publisher (as well as artist & writer), he is always seen sporting his blue shades and black fedora. His book - The Crimson Ghost - still remains popular despite going against the big names like Marvel and DC.

In the Dreaming however, Nick is the Govenor of the Wyld Coast. The Wyld Coast has had its share of Barons who have all went insane (if they weren't already) or are just plain absent, but this lone Kinain (along with the locals in Caer Darkvale) have managed to keep it running. He has been fully accepted into Kithain society and has been known to share a smoke or two with King Orion to just kickin it with Prince Ihsan on occasion. What lies in this Wilder's future is "To be Continued" - much like his stories.

Chani al'AlessiDineh Torres: sa'Chani Nasira Alimah al'Dovienya il za'Hadene appeared about 5 years ago in London, with no known story of her origins other than the name Chani al'Alessi. After a year, she began wandering and around May arrived Phoenix AZ, at a gathering of the Changling court there. To her total amazement, she encountered her cousin who she had not seen since she was 8 years old, half a world away.

After staying with Duke Ihsan for a while, she took up residence in Smokey Valley (Salt Lake), since it was the northernmost city in the kingdom at that time and had no Eshu presence other than herself. Happily, there soon came more Eshu to the valley. She was made a knight shortly thereafter, and has spent the ensuing years in Smokey Valley with frequent trips to the Seat of Sand with her "little sister" I'la.
